Zero stars. This is what’s left of a neighbor’s Accord waiting for the insurance company. Luckily this was parked at the time, but this is a good demonstration of why you don’t drive around in extreme winds.

Well that’s with the vehicle stationary. If we extrapolate to a moving vehicle at the 25MPH speed limit, I don’t think it would be survivable. I was actually surprised it wasn’t worse, but the amount of intrusion into the cabin by the roof likely would have meant very serious injuries at a minimum to some of the occupants. If the vehicle was moving, you also have that secondary crash to deal with.

Yeah it was wild here, lots of big trees knocked over. We have lots of trees on our lot, so we slept downstairs Thursday and Friday night just in case something came down.
